Like many of you out there, I have zero free time and less time to even think about what I would do if I had some. Well that's where Ray Meuer, former standout safety for some JC football team you never heard of, second runner up for the mayor of Dodgeville to Todd Upman, and notorious smokeless tobacco hound, has done the work for you. Many of you may (or may not) have seen the movie "Witness" with Harrison Ford, but surely you are aware of the Amish practice of "barn raising " (conveniently linked for you). Ray made a name for himself in the early part of the millenium (and prior to that at UWM, and the college I never heard of) by cracking heads, and being one of the most fearsome loose forwards ever to play the game (and not throw stones at geese). In any case, regardless of past antics, Ray needs your help. No, not raising a barn, try to keep up. We're going to TAKE DOWN a barn. You heard me right. It involves hammers, crow bars, and a whole lot of smashing. Oh, sorry, we're supposed to keep some of the boards; I'm sure Ray will fill you in on that. Anyway, if you can help out on 9:00 AM tomorrow, August 6th contact Ray directly via This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or phone - 262-510-9599 , and join the wrecking crew @ W3518 Cty S, which is nortwest of Hartford (it's actually right off of Highway 67). If you can't make it, you can always be there in spirit by watching "Witness" in reverse. But then you'd be seeing Kelly McGillis... never mind it's a family website.
