As we inch closer to getting outside and tearing up the beautifully manicured parks department fields, we have the last few days of begging, borrowing and stealing practice time and venues when and where we can get it. Personally , this author fought for a midnight to 2am showing, somewhere on Chicago's South Side, but Joe Cunningham, and Mike "Fetus" McEvilly used strong persuasion tactics, and overt political grandstanding to ensure that you all got home before midnight, and with all four tires on your cars. The location should be familiar, Marquette Valley Fields (near Potowatami Casino), and the time is 9pm to 11pm. So, next time you see them, buy them something cool to drink. As usual, be kitted up, and ready to roll prior to 9pm, so the coaches can have your full undevided attention. |
