2009-03-04-joe-foro-run-for-cure.jpgIn my quest not to let my "retirement" from rugby get the best of me, I have committed to run a marathon in June. My training will take up most of my time this spring and will most likely not be able to even play any B-side rugby so as to avoid any injury.

In addition to my training, I am also fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with the Team In Training program.  For those who haven't heard of Team In Training, they recruit and train individuals to run the events while the individual raises money for the LLS.  You can read more about me and the program on My Fundraising page.

Of course I could really use everybody's support in the form of donations.  The better I do there, the more I can focus on my training so that I can reach my goal of finishing in under 4 hours.  If anybody has any questions please feel free to drop me a line.

Thanks Everyone!
