Please join the Harlequins in congratulating Jeff and Amanda Hoffman, as they welcome into the world, Gavin James Hoffman. Gavin was born at 12:58PM on Saturday March 13th. He weighed in at 7 lbs 2 ozs and was 20 inches long. The rumor that he raked the doctor with his newborn cleats is simply unfounded.

When asked for a comment, coach Mike Loader was quoted as saying "Seems Gavin instinctively knew game time is 1pm on a Saturday, that's a good sign". However, when it was brought to his attention that Coach Ray Meuer and  Manager Joe Cunningham had told the team to be at the field no later than 12pm, Coach Loder retracted his statement, and said that Gavin's starting spot could be in jeopardy.
