After defeating the Black & White, the Harlequins RFC (Division I USA Rugby) are looking forward to second stage of the redemption, the CARFU Cup final. We finished the 2009 season with a disappointing loss in the final vs. the Blaze and now have the opportunity to correct that.

Our competition is the Chicago Lions, one of the most established and successful rugby programs in the Midwest. They recognize the need to develop talent organically and have a model we would love to emulate with the Hope Academy.

The Lions are coming off a disappointing season in the USA Ruby Super League and will want to send a message to all of the Midwest in the CARFU final on Saturday.

Someone upstairs (or possibly downstairs?) is rigging the tables for us as it looks like we will be hosting the final. I invite everyone who is a fan of good rugby to come out and support Milwaukee against the Lions.

As always, the Harlequins are committed to playing at the highest level possible and the Lions match will be immense. The is tentatively scheduled fora 1:00 PM kickoff at Nagawaukee Park (map + directions).
