The Milwaukee West Side Harlequins Rugby Football Club defeated the visiting Minneapolis East Side Banshees 77-14 in a one-sided affair at Naga-Waukee Park in Delafield, WI. In B-match action, the Banshees took their revenge with a confident win over the home side.

Coaches Summary: On a hot day, and a hard field, the Harlequins began their fall campaign against the Minnesota Banshees. Expectations for the season are high after an undefeated spring season. To increase the pressure on the team, the match was the first of three to be televised by Time Warner Cable Sports 32. Since the game will be televised (see below), watch the game and have all your friends watch the game. And then e-mail Time Warner and thank them. For us to improve, we need mental intensity and numbers at trainings this week.
